DC Affordable Housing Renovation Kickoff Celebration
The November 6th Wallbreaking ceremony for the historic Phyllis Wheatley YWCA in the DC neighborhood of Shaw brought out Mayor Muriel Bowser as well as residents, politicans and project participants to celebrate the renovation of this community asset. The YWCA will receive $17 million in financing to preserve its 84 units as permanent supportive housing for women. Nixon Peabody represented Urban Ingenuity in connection with Property Assessed Clean Energy("PACE") financing for the YWCA. Congratulations to Dantes Partners and all involved in this important project.
