Is DC ready for a local 9% low-income housing tax credit?

On March 4, 2014, DC Councilmember Kenyon McDuffie introduced the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Act of 2014.  The bill would establish a local 9% LIHTC within the District of Columbia.  The bill was referred to the Committee on Finance and Revenue.

The bill was co-sponsored by Councilmembers David A. Catania, Jack Evans and Phil Mendelson.
