DC Budget Surplus Could Benefit Affordable Housing in the District.

It seems that the DC government will enjoy a $321 million surplus for FY2013.  The Washington City Paper reports that a handful of councilmembers has negotiated a deal with our Mayor to dedicate future surplus revenue to the Housing Production Trust Fund.
